MEET GINA
I am an artist at heart. I have always been creating "something." As a little girl growing up in Colorado, I created little mini "fashion magazines" by drawing them. I learned how to crochet and sew and made Barbie clothes. Then I discovered taking photos at the age of 10 and have had some type of camera in my hand since then. I spent a lot of time documenting things with my photos with my little 110 camera growing up. Then I got married and had kids and was always taking photos of them. My photos were always snapshots, just documenting life and family events, but boy was I excited when digital photos came about. A few years ago I got tired of the images I printed out not looking anything like I saw in my head, so I started taking a few photo classes to learn how to really use my camera. And boy was I hooked!
I found out that I really love to photograph people. I love the interaction with others, getting to know them, making them feel comfortable, and figuring out how to photograph them to show off their best. I believe in empowering people to be the best version of themselves and hope that they will take their photographic experience with them always. I know I've done my job well when happy tears are shed.
I believe that everyone should have professional photos done, not only for themselves to enjoy, but for their family after they have gone. There’s nothing like flipping through those prints and reminiscing about when they were taken. You just don’t get that feeling with digitals.
I have spent a little time on the other side of the camera and I know how nerve-wracking it can be. My goal is to set you at ease, let’s have a conversation, and hopefully you’ll forget there’s even a camera in the room.
I look forward to meeting you and finding out how you want to be photographed and who you would like to be photographed with.
"Gina did my daughter's senior pictures, and not only did the photos turn out beautiful, but our experience with Gina was wonderful! She was extremely professional and helpful when it came to capturing some really great photos! I would highly recommend Gina to anyone looking for a photographer and would 100% do business with her again."
